Corsier-sur-Vevey is located in the canton of Vaud. It is part of the Riviera – Pays d’Enhaut district. It borders several municipalities in the canton of Fribourg, including Jongny, Chardonne and Corseaux, which together with Corsier-sur-Vevey form the Corsier district.
Corsier enjoys an enviable location. It is less than an hour from Geneva-Cointrin Airport, Bern, the capital of Switzerland, and Lausanne, the Olympic capital. It is also a stone’s throw from Montreux, a town world-famous for its jazz festival. With its feet practically in Lake Geneva and just a few kilometres from the ski slopes, Corsier enjoys a temperate and pleasant climate. Many visitors enjoy staying in the village’s small hotels or pubs, savouring the unrivalled quality of life. The municipality has also had the privilege of welcoming many distinguished guests, the most famous of whom was undoubtedly Charlie Chaplin, whose family lived at the Manoir-de-Ban, now Chaplin’s World.
